Welcome back! What are some of your favorite TV shows? So I’m going to date myself a little bit (laughing). I will have to say the oldie but goodies. Like Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Good Times, Welcome back Kotter , etc. They were funny, wholesome, and real family shows.
Some were all about family and how they stood together no matter what. Some were about real true friends that there for each other. I always wished growing up that I had a group of friends like Happy Days or Laverne and Shirley that you could just hang with, or share an apartment and beside silly things there was no real drama.
I mean yes even families like The Brady Bunch or The Cosby Show did have there issues from time to time but nothing ever real came between the family members enough to were they weren’t a family. Some how some way they always came back together. And parents were parent actually talking to there kids and listening to them even if it was before they handed out the punishments (laughing)
Now I know what your going to say ” That TV its not real). I know but I really think we could of learned a lot from those shows. I don’t really watch a lot of TV now except maybe for a hand full and thats pushing it. And I know things have changed and they have to keep up with the times, but then we sit and wonder why the world has gone to pot.
Not its not the TV’s fault I just think we somewhere along the way lost some core values to were everything is about bling or money. Instead of being about love, family, and home. What was your favorite TV show growing up or today?
